Historic Downtown Walking Tour
Docent narrated 45 minute stroll along the cobbled sidewalks of historic downtown Long Grove. Cost is $12/person, $5/child (ages 6-12), with a minimum group charge of $120.
Tales of Long Grove Presentation
Entertaining 45 minute presentation (30 minute presentation, 15 minutes for discussion) on the history of Long Grove. Includes a little something for everyone history, scandal, Hollywood, civics, and even a macabre story or two. Cost is $5/person, with a minimum group charge of $150, and assumes the venue is being arranged for separately (e.g. combined with a lunch/tea/etc.). When arranging a venue for this, be sure to make it a private room, and that the venue knows you’ll be having a speaker.
Historic Farmhouse Tour
Docent lead 20-30 minute tour of a restored 1850¹s farmhouse. Cost is $8/person (adults only no children under 12). Minimum group charge of $100. Due to space, the maximum we can accommodate is 8 people at a time, so if your group is larger, we will divide it up and do some question and answer discussion on the porch while some of your group waits for their turn.
Note: Advance reservations/booking required (we’re an all volunteer organization with no paid staff, so it can take a few days to get schedules confirmed)
